Vince Thompson is a force in sports and entertainment marketing — a relentless brand builder, entrepreneur, and industry pioneer. He founded MELT in 2000, growing it into one of the largest independent experiential marketing agencies in the country.
MELT's 22-year representation of Coca-Cola includes activating 18 NCAA Final 4s, 8 seasons of ESPN College GameDay, FIFA, MLB, MLS, NASCAR, NBA, NFL, NHRA, PGA and Olympics. Thompson delivered breakthrough campaigns like AFLAC's college football initiative starring Coaches Nick Saban and Deion Sanders. His leadership earned Chief Marketer's Top 200 Agencies and Event Marketer's Top 100 "IT" List, plus 25+ industry awards.
A proud Auburn grad ('84) and NIL pioneer, Thompson co-founded the NIL Awards, produced the first-ever NIL student-athlete summit, and developed The Jboy Show — acquired by The Daily Wire. In 2024, he reopened Auburn's War Eagle Supper Club and helped Mobile secure OVG/Live Nation for their $300M arena.
